Yavapai Diaper Drive

Yavapai Diaper Drive

12 May 2013

12:00 am-11:30 pm

Located at:

Fourth Annual Yavapai Diaper Drive

In Yavapai County, 26% of families with children under age five are living in poverty with an
income of less than $22,000 for a family of four. To keep a baby healthy, it takes 90 diapers
per week at a cost of $2,080 per year for diapers and wipes. The Coalition for Compassion
and Justice, with help from First Things First, is coordinating the fourth annual Yavapai Diaper
Drive. The drive runs from May 12 (Mothers’ Day) – June 16 (Fathers’ Day), and diapers
collected during that time benefit low-income families county-wide through organizations that
serve infants and toddlers. Please help us to help these organizations that serve the youngest
and most vulnerable of our citizens. You can help by donating diapers and wipes, by being a
collection site or by providing funding. For information: directoropendoor@gmail.com or 928-
