Located at: Prescott Public Library

Kids can read the book and meet the author at Prescott Public Library! Readers to Writers is a book discussion group for children that focuses on contemporary authors and then provides children with the opportunity to meet that author via Skype technology. On Tuesday, April 9 at 4 p.m., participants will discuss Amelia Lost: The Life and Disappearance of Amelia Earhart in preparation for a Skype visit with Candace Fleming on Tuesday, April 23.

Candace Fleming is the acclaimed author of The Great and Only Barnum, as well as The Lincolnsand Our Eleanor. In alternating chapters, Fleming moves between Amelia’s life and the exhaustive search for her and her missing plane. Participants will receive a free copy of Amelia Lost and have the opportunity to discuss with Fleming her conclusions about what happened to Amelia Earhart.

Presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library. For children, grades 3-5. Register online, at the Youth Desk or call 777.1537.
