Prescott Area Shelter Services is in need of volunteers and we looking to you! If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about being a meal provider, an evening advocate, an office advocate or an overnight advocate please call the shelter at928.778.5933 or email: k.norris@prescottshelters.org or pawsvolunteercoordinator@yahoo.com.

Please read below for more information on each position and thank you for all that you do for PASS!

Meal Provider
Prepare a meal at home, by yourself, or with a group, for about 20 guests. Bring the prepared meal to the shelter around 5:30 PM. You can stay with the guests and eat, or drop off the meal, say your hellos and leave.
Office Volunteer

9 AM-12PM volunteer at the office answering phones, writing thank you notes, taking donations and more.

Evening Advocate 

Come to the shelter from 5-8 PM. During that time eat dinner with the ladies, help them with resumes, applications, homework and more. Make sure that chores are being completed and that the environment is safe.

Overnight Advocate
From 8PM-8AM spend the night at the shelter and receive a $25 stipend. Ensure that everyone is in bed, and tasks accomplished by 10 PM, and that everyone is out of the shelter by 8 AM.
