Flying the U-2

7:00 pm-8:30 pm

Located at: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Davis Auditorium

Colonel Art Saboski, US Air Force (Retired) presents his perspectives on the high altitude U-2 aircraft—its history and current operations.  The venerable U-2 model that achieved fame in the 1960s was eventually retired to museums as a newer, more sophisticated U-2 quietly took its place.  Today’s U-2 is a modern, digital aircraft and reconnaissance system that is thoroughly integrated into the US air battle scenario.  It serves as one of the Air Force’s principle assets, currently employed in Afghanistan and other worldwide locations.
This is a free, public event.  Doors open at 6:30 PM.  The parking lot and auditorium are accessible.  All ages are welcome.
