Dr. Larry W. Greenly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, chiropractic doctor, editor, author, scholar, teacher, former private plane pilot, CAP member, and skydiver, shares highlights of Eugene Bullard’s amazing life including his early history in Georgia, boxing in Scotland, war experiences in the French Foreign Legion and the Lafayette Flying Corps, final days in New York City, and much in between in a multi-media Aviation History Program at Embry-Riddle Davis Auditorium.  Greenly’s new book, Eugene Bullard: World’s First Black Fighter Pilot, won a Gold Medal in the 2014 national Moonbeam Children’s Book Award, is a current finalist in the NM/AZ Book Awards, has a starred review from the American Library Association, and a recommendation from Voices of Youth Advocates.  This program celebrates Black History Month.  Doors open at 6:30 PM.  All ages are welcome.
