Building Mental Muscle at the Prescott Public Library
12 Sep 2013
2:30 pm-3:30 pm Located at: Prescott Public Library
We all worry about our memory as we get older. There is much research that shows the more active we keep our minds, the less likely they are to decline. Join PPL staff in fun activities, with a little bit of science-backed research on keeping our brains agile and strong. We’ll meet in the Founders Suite on the second¬†Thursday¬†of each month at¬†2:30 p.m.¬†from August through October.
Bring your friends for some brain-building games and lots of laughter! We’ll have some enjoyable mental puzzles that you can play here or take home with you to share with others. The science backing up these muscle-building exercises is equally fascinating and you will find these tidbits of science both thought-provoking and relevant. We’ll supply a bibliography of the books we used so you can read more about the specific science.
Registration is needed. For more information, call 777.1526 or visit the Ask a Librarian Desk.
