The Cause of Conscience 500 Years after Luther
14 Oct 2017
10:00 am-4:00 pm Located at: Flagstaff Seventh-day Adventist Church
Five hundred years ago, Luther posted his 95 theses, the event historians mark as the start of the Reformation. The Reformation produced a revolution in religious, social and political life. It laid the foundation for republican governments based on respect for individual rights, both civil and religious, and ultimately, a global recognition of universal human rights.
The Flagstaff Seventh-day Adventist Church is proud to host Alan J. Reinach, Esq., Executive Director of the Church State Council, a lawyer, minister, and historian of church state relations. In three presentations, Reinach will examine the contribution the Reformation has made to American concepts of church state relationships and liberty of conscience.
